Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand/power tools
- Load/un construction materials and operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Support carpenters, masons, and other trades with foundational tasks
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and basic concrete finishing
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Report equipment issues and workplace hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Fresno County
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- No felony convictions (background check required)
