Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and projects.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and clearing debris, and setting up barriers and signage.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, metal, concrete) according to blueprints or instructions.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing on concrete.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and site regulations.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions and safety signage.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
