Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials (lumber, bricks, concrete blocks) at the job site.
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various construction tasks, including framing, drywalling, and painting.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by cleaning up debris and spills.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Perform site preparation work, including excavation and grading as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety gear is preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
