Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various construction tasks and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, hauling debris, and removing trash.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under direct supervision.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding labor in all weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple instructions or labels.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
- Desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
