Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, HVAC) with daily tasks and setups.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and excavation duties.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints and foreman instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols (OSHA) is a plus.
