Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction duties, such as digging, mixing concrete, and cleaning work areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe by adhering to OSHA regulations and company standards.
- Transport materials to and from the job site efficiently using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on uneven surfaces.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) and flexible shifts as needed.
