Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic tasks such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, and installing light fixtures under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Use hand and power tools effectively while adhering to strict safety standards.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Document work completed and report any material shortages or safety issues to senior staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; a strong willingness to learn and a good work ethic are essential.
- Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, including some weekends or overtime.
