Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic equipment like jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers under supervision
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and debris removal
- Maintain clean and safe work areas following OSHA guidelines
- Adhere to project timelines and site-specific safety protocols
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Jacksonville
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- No prior construction experience necessary
- Must possess basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
