Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions
- Assist with trenching, excavation, and concrete pouring as needed
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid California Driver's License preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
- Previous construction experience a plus but not mandatory
