Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, and jackhammers) under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment for everyone.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site at all times.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) and standing/walking on various surfaces.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Reliability: Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.
