Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting, and moving materials on construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and effectively
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, concrete work, and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily team briefings and contribute to problem-solving
- Complete timecards accurately for weekly payroll processing
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal instructions
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends
- Clean background check and drug-free workplace compliance
