Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and operate hand/power tools safely
- Assist carpenters and masons with building tasks
- Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Operate machinery like forklifts and excavators (with certification)
- Report safety hazards immediately to site manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 Construction Card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Houston
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must have own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
