Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) on construction sites
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Participate in site preparation and cleanup activities
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA guidelines
- Punctuality and strong work ethic
