Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and distributing materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as directed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Read and understand basic blueprints and project layouts.
- Perform minor site preparation, including excavation, concrete finishing, and framing assistance.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are inspected and maintained properly.
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to follow safety instructions and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
