Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely handle and operate various construction tools and equipment as directed.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to skilled carpenters, electricians, and other construction professionals.
- Excavation & Leveling: Assist in digging, leveling, and preparing foundations as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Math Skills: Basic arithmetic skills for measuring and estimating.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is a plus.
