Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and deliver them to the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by sweeping, cleaning debris, and organizing tools.
- Perform basic measurements and cut materials to size using hand and power tools.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
- Assist in digging, leveling, and preparing surfaces for construction work.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
