Responsibilities
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including digging, lifting, hauling, and cleaning construction sites.
- Material Handling: Assist with the loading, unloading, and staging of building materials and equipment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., saws, drills, levels).
- Assistance: Help carpenters, electricians, and other trades with assembly and installation tasks.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong history of punctuality and consistent work attendance.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License is preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
- Work Ethic: Willingness to learn new skills and work in all weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools is helpful but on-the-job training is provided.
