Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit, stripping wire, and installing outlets and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and job details.
- Handle tools and equipment with care, performing routine maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses as training progresses.
