Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and generators, after certification.
- Follow all company safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and project instructions.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Demolish structures and prepare sites for new construction projects.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly without assistance.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team setting.
