Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and trash disposal.
- Follow all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Measure and cut materials as directed by the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic math skills.
