Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials at the job site efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with daily tasks and project execution.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and skid steers (training provided).
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Demolition & Prep: Perform light demolition, excavation, and site preparation duties.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic site plans and follow instructions from site supervisors.
- Weather Adaptability: Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- License: Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
