Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, skid steers) under supervision.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and debris from trucks and job sites.
- Perform general site cleanup, including sweeping, digging, and trash removal.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and concrete finishing.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and site managers to coordinate tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry materials weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read simple instructions.
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods.
