Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from the job site.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various on-site installation tasks.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and safety plans.
- Break down and set up temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
