Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Support Trades: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and cleanliness regulations.
- Assisting with Demolition: Help with the safe dismantling of structures and removal of waste materials.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
