Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or dollies efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring a clutter-free and organized environment for all trades.
- Assistance: Provide general labor support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under strict supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and assist in general cleanup.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid government-issued ID or Social Security Number.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus but not required; we train the motivated.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are preferred but not mandatory.
