Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, with precision and safety.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with specific tasks and installations.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company quality standards at all times.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for qualified candidates.
