Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting heavy construction materials to and from the job site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the guidance of skilled tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Assist with excavation, leveling, and site preparation as directed by the site supervisor.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety plans.
- Perform physical duties such as digging, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Report any potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (extreme heat is common in Las Vegas).
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new construction techniques.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
