Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Perform basic electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks under the direct supervision of certified journeyman electricians.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety protocols at all times.
- Tools & Equipment: Maintain, organize, and clean tools, vehicles, and workspaces to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.
- Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and load materials and supplies, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of electrical components.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, explain work being done, and answer questions regarding electrical systems.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean and free of hazards, removing debris and securing loose materials after daily tasks are completed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Driver’s License: A valid, clean driver’s license is required for travel to various job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions (hot/cold).
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to follow instructions and report progress to supervisors.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-outs as needed.
