Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with daily tasks.
- Operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and compressors, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Perform basic measurements and prepare surfaces for finishing work.
- Respond quickly to instructions from supervisors and project managers.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures strictly.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
