Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely.
- Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels, with precision and care.
- Prepare and clean construction sites, including debris removal and site maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience in construction is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Experience with power tools and heavy machinery is an asset but not required.
