Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform trenching, shoveling, and other physical labor tasks
- Assist with concrete pouring, framing support, and demolition work
- Participate in daily team briefings and task assignments
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide paid training
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual labor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety principles
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for daily start times (6:00 AM)
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
