Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, saws) under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Perform general manual labor tasks as assigned by supervisors
- Participate in team-based construction projects across Chicago
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Valid government-issued ID and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- No prior construction experience necessary – training provided
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
