Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily site operations and task completion.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal, sweeping, and waste disposal.
- Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely according to guidelines.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by project supervisors.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations strictly.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project momentum.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to perform rigorous physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
