Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites safely.
- Site Preparation: Clean and prepare job sites, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels) correctly and safely.
- Measurement: Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure materials are cut and fitted correctly.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines are followed.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are welcome! We provide on-the-job training.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Tools: Own basic construction tools (preferred but not required).
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and pay attention to safety details.
