Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials efficiently at the job site.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools (e.g., forklift, hammer drill) under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily assembly and installation tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, trenching, and leveling ground.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety signage.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for measuring and cutting.
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
