Responsibilities
- Material Management: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites efficiently.
- Skill Support: Assist experienced tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate basic construction machinery and power tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a professional working environment.
- Measurement & Prep: Assist in measuring, cutting, and preparing materials for installation according to blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we welcome first-time applicants with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and willing to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
