Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, grading land, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools and construction equipment safely and efficiently under the supervision of a foreman.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including digging, mixing concrete, and assisting skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, etc.).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, disposing of waste, and organizing tools after each shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a general laborer or construction worker is preferred but not required (we offer on-the-job training).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid ID: Must have a valid driver's license and social security card.
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to safety protocols and wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours.
