Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including mixing concrete, spreading asphalt, and assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.).
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision as required.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to job sites on time.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends as needed.
- Background: No prior construction experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
