Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials (bricks, lumber, tools) to and from the site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, compressors) under supervision to assist with cutting and shaping materials.
- Job Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, disposing of waste, and organizing tools after each shift.
- Assisting Tradespeople: Support electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with basic tasks to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company and local building codes by checking materials and finished work for defects.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License or State ID.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be available for full-time shifts (Monday–Friday).
- Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
- Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols is a plus.
