Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstacles.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, hand trucks, or by hand.
- Equipment Support: Assist in operating basic construction equipment and power tools under direct supervision.
- Quality Control: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assistance: Provide direct assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, masons, and electricians.
- Measurement: Accurately measure and cut materials as directed by the foreman.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
