Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring a clean work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Trade Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Transportation: Transport materials to different areas of the project efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Safety Mindset: Must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and protocols.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse crew and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
