Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of electrical tasks, including wiring, panel upgrades, and fixture installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license in New York.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
