Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and residential sites in Chicago and surrounding areas.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks to maintain our high standards.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of learning and safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project status and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Proficiency with modern electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
