Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced tools
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices on projects
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention protocols
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients seamlessly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid District of Columbia Journeyman Electrician license
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Expertise in conduit bending, wiring, and control systems
- Proven ability to read complex technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills for critical systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
