Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup duties
- Operate basic hand/power tools and construction equipment under supervision
- Maintain safe work environments by following OSHA guidelines and company protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials up to 50 lbs
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop construction skills
- Support project completion by assisting with various labor-intensive tasks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – entry-level candidates encouraged
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to work in various weather conditions outdoors
- Basic math skills for measuring and material counting
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
