Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and organizing tools and materials.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and installing outlets and switches under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues to senior staff.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Drive company vehicle to various job sites within the Charlotte metro area.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior experience is required; we are looking for raw potential and a willingness to learn.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Charlotte location.
