As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of our Master Electricians, gaining hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Run conduit and wire according to NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines.
- Perform basic carpentry and drywall repair as needed to complete electrical projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, removing debris and securing tools after use.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior electrical experience is required. However, familiarity with basic tools and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Driver's License: A valid, insurable driver's license is mandatory for travel to job sites.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Strong willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
