Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently.
- Educate customers on energy efficiency and system usage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and load requirements.
- Ability to obtain a State of California Journeyman License or willingness to complete an apprenticeship program.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
