Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA and NEC safety regulations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify and repair electrical faults.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Prepare materials and tools for upcoming jobs and ensure inventory is organized.
- Document work completed and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and wire lengths.
- Strong desire to learn and a positive attitude toward mentorship.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
