Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Work alongside experienced Journeyman electricians to perform installations, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Safety Compliance: Learn and strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company protocols, and local electrical codes.
- Tool Management: Properly utilize and maintain hand and power tools under supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Blueprint Reading: Develop the ability to interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by organizing materials, cleaning work areas, and ensuring a safe environment for the team.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answer basic questions, and maintain a positive company image.
Qualifications
- Entry-Level Open: No prior experience is necessary; we are looking for candidates willing to learn and grow.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for travel to job sites.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
